October 2009: No further additons are being made to our list of Drop Shipping customers. Animal Prints UK has been supplying gifts on a wholesale basis for over 10 years, and has operated a dropshipping service since July 2007. Our 'drop shipping' service is aimed at retailers who wish to offer for sale and have our giftware shipped direct to their customers. The way in which the service operates is set out below. Only customers who have registered for the service and who have been allocated a unique login and password are able to view prices and order on-line.
All goods offered are held in stock at our Leyburn,
North Yorkshire warehouse, from where goods to your customers
are despatched.
Our drop shipping service enables you to:
The most
significant advantages of the arrangement are: You dont
have to buy stock beforehand, or run any risk of buying
stock that you dont sell. Why
is a fee payable? The drop shipping
service is intended for people who wish to offer our giftware
for sale on a regular basis, and we needed a simple arrangement
to discourage people from enrolling just for personal
purchases. You are therefore charged a one-off registration
fee of £30 to enable you to use the service. How
does the scheme operate ? When you registered
as a Drop Shipping Retailer we provided you with your
login and password to get full access to our drop shipping
website and to images of our range to enable you to add
the gifts you wish to offer to your website, Ebay, Catalogue,
shop etc.
Delivery to yourself? Delivery / Shipping arrangements Our intention
is that your orders are despatched very promptly from
our warehouse, which will usually mean within 2 working
days. We would advise however that you quote a delivery
time to your customers of within 5-7 working days. We will identify you (using the business name and address you give us on your application form) as the 'sender' on all parcels unless you tell us otherwise.
VAT Returns/cancelled
orders You can cancel
an order up to the time of its despatch, and return unopened
items from a cancelled order within 7 days after delivery,
and receive a full refund. Faulty or damaged items will
be refunded or replaced if returned within 30 days in
their original packaging. Animal Prints will not be responsible
for postage costs of returning unwanted items unless they
are damaged or faulty.
Stocks
of giftware We aim to keep
stock available throughout our range at all times, but
where this is not possible we will advise you regularly
by email of items not available or discontinued. NB
We are unable to send email correspondence to AOL
email addresses. Product
Images Product images
are available to download by registered customers which
may be used in websites, Ebay or eslewhere to display
our products for sale. Payment
for orders We will require
payment for drop-shipping orders placed at the time of
ordering. Payment can be by PayPal, Debit Card or Credit
Card, and can be made through our website. What
do I have to do to make this a success? Those that
are new to this will wish to offer the range of giftware
you decide in such a way that reaches interested buyers,
and presents the giftware well and at attractive prices.
This may involve e.g. one or more Websites, Ebay, Press
Advertising, Brochures. You'll need to be prepared to
deal with orders efficiently and promptly.
